Robert
König was born on the 03.11.1951. in Székesfehérvár.
Graduated at the Graphic Department of the Hungarian
Academy of Fine Arts Budapest in 1975.
Since then he has been lecturing there, now as the master
of the classic methods of graphic art. Recently he is
searching the new ways of block-printing and his mural
paintings of the last years are significant as well. The
themes are very diverse which are based on organic
dynamics.
As an internationally recognized master he was guest-professor
of the Royal Academy den Haag in 1993.
In 1997 he exhibited in Buffalo at Castellani Museum and
in 1999 he got the main art prize of Baden-Württenberg
in Germany.
His activity is well known at home and abroad through
exhibitions.
