| Study is
addressed to “ How is the
performance of a heated tube
influenced by adjacent tubes ?
” . For this, finite element
method was used to solve Navier-Stokes
equations and energy equation for
the problem of laminar flow and
heat transfer characteristics of
air around isothermal heated
single tube and three isothermal
heated tubes and one isothermal
heated tube placed into two
unheated tubes in cross-flow.
Predictions were made as
isotherms, heat transfer
coefficient distribution on the
geometry and local Nusselt number
distribution around the cylinder
