Summary

Heat bridges are the connections that supply the heat transmission between the open outside environment and inside of building that has different temperatures. Heat bridge can affect most importantly the heat requirement and heat gain and related to this, they should be taken into account for thermal projection of technical systems. For the solution of such as this engineering problem, the researchers develop analytical, graphical and numerical methods.
In the present study Quick-field software program was used to solve the problem that uses the finite element method. Thermal analysis of heat bridges were carried out that has different boundary conditions. Internal temperature distributions and heat flux variations are investigated for each heat bridge. Results are evaluated by taking into account the international standards.
